What would life be without colour? In painting therapy the student is helped to gain skills and inner confidence through handling watercolours and exploring the unique qualities of each colour. Elements of colour and form are balanced through synthesis.
Through painting, we aim particularly to enrich and activate each student’s powers of imagination. Over time, they come to trust their own experience, giving a sense of calm and certainty. The therapeutic impact unfolds during the painting process itself and focuses less on the resulting artwork.
