Working with Us

We have been experiencing technical issues with the email address links on the volunteering and Job vacancies page all this week and have not been able to reply to anyone- if you have contacted us please can you email again as it is now working. Apologies for any inconvenience caused

Every year The Mount Community welcomes a group of live-in international volunteer co-workers. No experience is necessary but a reasonably good ability in the English language is essential. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. The minimum commitment is for one year. We provide accredited training called The Mount Introduction Course with Care Certificate, accredited to Level 2.

We also vacancies from time to time for longer term co-workers to support students in the residential setting.

Additionally we welcome employed Camphill colleagues who live off-site and contribute in all areas of the community.

Do you live locally?

Would you like to come and volunteer in one of our work areas on a regular basis?

We’re always looking for volunteers to get involved in our work, and depending on your skills and experience, we’ll probably have a volunteering opportunity which is right for you:

At present we are looking for:

-          Garden/Land work

-          Teaching assistants in our craft work shops

-           Drivers

-          Help with Fundraising

If you’re interested in one of our current volunteering opportunities or if you’d just like to discuss how you could volunteer with us get in touch with us. We’ll be delighted to discuss how we could work together.
